Wilhelm joined Optron in January 2013.  Wilhelm has been actively involved in the GIS industry in South Africa for the last 25 years, during which he managed various GIS companies. Wilhelm’s experience includes various GIS products and strategic consultancy services to mostly Government institutions.  This includes most municipalities in the country and places like the Surveyor General, IEC, Stats SA, Johannesburg Water, etc. Wilhelm is an honorary member of GISSA and a Plato registered Professional GIS Practitioner.

Wilhelm currently holds the position of Enterprise Solutions Segment Manager.
